Our selection and recruitment process is structured to enable heads of departments to select the most suitable candidates to join the Trust.
Advertised vacancies Targeted recruitment will be carried out in the press and/or on the internet for all vacant positions. Every vacancy is advertised below on this page. The advert will give all the details required about how to apply and state a deadline for completed applications. The Trust will only accept applications which are made using our Application Form. You may wish to submit a CV and covering letter in support of your application. Please ensure all documents you send clearly state which position you are applying for and, if applying for more than one post, complete separate application forms.
Speculative applications There are a number of departments for which casual staff recruitment is ongoing throughout the year for which speculative applications are considered: Front of House / Catering and Bars / Box Office / Stage / Electrics / Wardrobe. You can submit a CV personally at the Festival Theatre Stage Door, email or send your CV to the HR Department. Please ensure that you include a covering letter detailing why you would like to work with us and what area of the theatre you are interested in. With these details your CV will go to the correct head of department for consideration. We will retain speculative CV’s for 3 months.
Work Experience/Placements The Trust is unable to offer work experience placements at this time due to the level of resources available and the volume of such requests.
