Both the Festival Theatre and the King’s Theatre are situated within easy reach of the centre of Edinburgh.

Festival Theatre, 13/29 Nicolson Street, Edinburgh, EH8 9FT.
On Foot: (From Princes Street) The Festival Theatre is on Nicolson Street, which is the continuation of North Bridge heading south from the east end of Princes Street (the Balmoral Hotel is on the corner of Princes Street and North Bridge). The theatre is on the right hand side of the road; approximately 10 minutes walk from the east end of Princes Street.
By Rail: The nearest rail station to the Festival Theatre is Waverley station.
By Bus: The Festival Theatre is accessible by many different bus routes across the city. The main Lothian bus routes which serve the Festival Theatre are: numbers 2, 3, 3A, 5, 7, 8, 14, 21, 29, 31, 33, 37, 37A, 42 and 49.
By Road: From the west end of Princes Street. The Festival Theatre is on Nicolson Street, which is the continuation of North Bridge heading south from Princes Street. Princes Street is closed to cars travelling east. The easiest route from the west side of the city centre is to turn left into Charlotte Square, then right onto Queen Street. At the east end of Queen Street there is a large roundabout (beside John Lewis and the Warner Village Cinema complex). Turn right at the roundabout up Leith Street, which will take you to the east end of Princes Street. Go straight on at the traffic lights and up North Bridge (the Balmoral Hotel is on the corner of Princes Street and North Bridge). The theatre is on the right hand side of road.
Car Parking: There is limited street parking around the Festival Theatre. There is small car park located about 5 minutes walk from the theatre on Niddry Street (7.00am - 11.00pm, 7 days). For further car park information click Central Car Parks
King’s Theatre, 2 Leven Street, Edinburgh, EH3 9LQ.
On Foot: (From Princes Street) The King's Theatre is in the Tollcross area of the city, on Leven Street. To walk from Princes Street, turn up Lothian Road, the main road leading south of Princes Street at the west end (The Caledonian Hilton Hotel is on the corner of Princes Street and Lothian Road.) At the very top of Lothian Road, there is a large junction, with three forks (Tollcross) – take the right hand fork. The King’s Theatre is on the left hand side of the main road, about a two-minute walk from the junction. The King’s is approximately 15 minutes walk from the west end of Princes Street.
By Rail: The nearest rail station to the King’s Theatre is Haymarket, however to get to the theatre from a rail station it is easier to use Waverley station and a local bus.
By Bus: The King’s Theatre is in the Tollcross area of Edinburgh. The main Lothian bus routes that serve the King’s Theatre are: numbers 1, 10, 11, 15, 16, 17, 23, 24, 27, 28, 34, 35 and 45.
By Road: From the West end of Princess Street. The King’s Theatre is in the Tollcross area of the city, on Leven Street. Turn right up Lothian Road at the Caledonian Hilton Hotel. At the very top of Lothian Road, there is a large junction, with three forks (Tollcross) – take the right hand fork. The King’s Theatre is on the left hand side of the main road about 500m from the Tollcross junction.
Car Parking: The only parking available in the immediate vicinity of the King’s Theatre is street parking. There is an NCP car park about 15 minutes walk from the theatre on Castle Terrace (24 hours, 7 days). For further car park information click Central Car Parks
